Apparently, Andrea Rossi’s time on the cold fusion or low energy nuclear reactions battle for worldwide acceptance is not up yet. Instead, the Italian inventor continues to work very hard for the growth and development of his energy catalyzer LENR device. In the past e-cat news, the Italian inventor succeeded in the several tests he conducted for his e-cat fusor. The new technology is able to produce massive amounts of heat that is safe, cheap and clean. Using a small amount of nickel and hydrogen, applied with a secret catalyst, the e-cat LENR technology is able to generate enough heat to amaze the people all over the world. The domestic e-cat, which is due for market release next year, could provide heat and hot water in a regular household. Another e-cat unit is for industrial use and the highly anticipated high temperature e-cat. These units are currently under certification testing. Continue reading →
Low Maintenance Is One of the Home E-cat Standards
Questions on the upcoming market release of the home e-cat prompted many e-cat related websites to feature this Low Energy Nuclear Reactions technology as often as possible. They also provide as much important information as they can in order to present a comprehensive review of the e-cat that is designed to provide heat and hot water in a regular household. The e-cat reactor is current under certification testing and it is known that it has different standards to meet the certification requirements. And one of these standards is low maintenance. Rossi revealed in his Journal of Nuclear Physics blog that once the e-cat is professionally installed, the home owner will have no responsibility. Continue reading →
CNBC Features Cold Fusion
CNBC, aUSfinancial cable network, recently featured a segment about cold fusion through a program entitled “Scientific Breakthroughs”. It was aired last July 17 at 9:00 PM ET and a replay at midnight. There was no live streaming of broadcasting from CNBC on the Internet and thus only those people who have access to CNBC programming on their TV were able to watch it live. Prior to the showing of the said program, there have been so much talks about the feature story over the web stating that there will also feature people in influential positions in finance and the media paying at least a bit of attention to the cold fusion story. DARPA Continues To Investigate LENR And Cold Fusion
Last week July 2, Next Big Future.com released a very interesting report concerning the involvement of DARPA or the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR) and Cold Fusion. DARPA is a department of The U.S. Department of Defense which continues to investigate LENR and cold fusion ever since it was introduced to the world. In 1989, when Fleischmann and Pons announced their cold fusion experiment, DARPA was among the agencies that tried to look closely on the technology. DARPA studies “emergent effects and engineered devices” for the purpose of “developing more efficient and powerful devices.” Among other studies, they consider “engineering palladium microstructures with large deuterium loadings to study absorption thermodynamics and effects”. Will E-cat Technology Really Make A Difference?
It is understandable that people will ask about the real potential of the e-cat technology. After all, it is still a new device and is premature. Who would have the nerve to deal with such technology that also faces with a lot of controversies? With the emergence of Low Energy Nuclear Reactions device, it would appear that a new era in the science of energy production is definitely underway. E-cat LENR is definitely here to stay. We have witnessed its humble beginnings. Today, the technology’s growth and development amazes not only the non-scientific people but also the scientific circles. If before the scientific community snobs Italian inventor Andrea Rossi and his LENR invention, today we are seeing so much improvement such as e-cat skeptics turned e-cat believers. This is very unusual especially to a device that has been ridiculed for long years. What matters now is the present and the current status of the technology worldwide. Continue reading →
The Humble Beginnings Of Rossi E-cat (Interest in LENR Technology Increases)
Various conferences and publications talk about the new low energy nuclear reactions technology known as the energy catalyzer or simply e-cat. This LENR device is invented by Andrea Rossi and is now considered as the first commercially successful LENR device in the 21st century. Following the failed LENR or cold fusion experiment of Fleischmann and Pons in 1989, the scientific and academic circles start to give any technologies related to cold fusion or LENR a cold shoulder.
